Kevin Flanagan Obituary
AGE: 50 • New Brunswick
Mr. Kevin C. Flanagan passed away on Monday at the Park Place Home in South Brunswick. He was 50 years of age. Mr. Flanagan was born in New Brunswick and lived in the area for most of his life. He attended grammar school in New Brunswick, and graduated from St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, class of 1982. He continued his education earning a Bachelor's of Science and a Masters in Engineering from NJIT. Mr. Flanagan was employed as a Civil Engineer for many years. He was an avid angler, enjoying the challenge of both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
He was pre deceased by his parents, John C. Flanagan and Nancy L. Reardon-Flanagan. Mr. Flanagan is survived by his brother John and his wife Debbie of Rahway, his niece Deanna, Nephew Matthew, an Aunt, Patricia Reardon, and three cousins, Kathy Twitchell, Barbara Lewis, and Michael Lewis.
A special thank you to Kevin's best friend George Demetriou who provided support and oversaw his medical care these past nine months.
Friends and family may visit at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset on Saturday from 9-10 AM. A funeral mass will follow at St. Matthias Church in Somerset and interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick. Contributions in Mr. Flanagan's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
