Leonard Golazeski Obituary
North Brunswick - Leonard John Golazeski passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his home in North Brunswick surrounded by love. He was 84.
Leonard, aka "Lenny" was born in 1933 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania as one of eight children to the late Stanley and Anna Golazeski. He was a self-employed carpenter trimmer for 43 years before his retirement in 2003.
He loved hunting, fishing with his "guys", watching Saturday college football games and supporting his Pennsylvania sports teams - the Philadelphia Eagles, Penn State University and the Philadelphia Phillies. Fly Eagles, Fly!
He was predeceased by his sisters - Helene Koss and Clare Golazeski; and his brothers - John and Stanley Golazeski. Surviving are his wife of 58 years Dorothy (Wiechmann) Golazeski; his son Richard Golazeski; two daughters - Christine Leyden and her husband Edward and Cathleen Whalen and her husband Michael; his beloved grandsons Michael and Christopher Whalen; his brother Robert Golazeski; two sisters - Alma Golazeski and Anne Lynn; and 24 nieces and nephews.
Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. As per Leonard's wishes a private celebration of his life will be held for his immediate family.
