Gerald Frost, of Factoryville, passed away Wednesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maureen Noone Frost, who passed away on February 17, 2020.

He was born in Clairton, PA. Gerald was the son of the late Richard and Evelyn Jackson Frost. Gerald was a graduate of Penn State University and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he dedicated many years as Superintendent of Lackawanna State Park, Prompton State Park, and Salt Springs State Park.

He is survived by his son, Daniel and granddaughter, Harper Frost of Hop Bottom; his brother, Richard Frost of Ohio; his sister, Judy Lawrence of Ohio; his sister-in-law, Geralyn Swinick of Dunmore; his brother-in-law, Patrick Noone and his wife, Debbie of Pipersville. He was a dedicated uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was fortunate to live his retirement to the full extent. He enjoyed his retirement traveling, golfing, gambling, and dining at the Blue Bird with his friends. He was an avid supporter of the Lackawanna Trail football team. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, Harper, and cherished family dinners at Geralyn's home.

A blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge Street, Dunmore. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M .Memorial contributions may be made in to the Lackawanna Trail Football program in care of the Lackawanna Trail School District .
