Letitia "Connie" Botwin

Port Reading - Letitia "Connie" Botwin passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at her home in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township. She was 77 years old.

Born in Newark, she has resided in Port Reading for the past 42 years.

Connie was a Real Estate Agent with J.J. Elek Realty for the past 25 years.

She was a longtime communicant and active parishioner of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading and attended mass daily as well as serving on the Building and Grounds Committee and 100th Anniversary Committee, Finance Committee and Counting Team; and volunteered at the Food Pantry and the Coordinator of the Jesse Tree Ministry at Christmas time.

She also was a volunteer with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. of Morris Plains.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Botwin, in 2011; and parents, Rusell Jensen and Dorothy King Jensen.

She is survived by her only daughter, Laura Botwin of Port Reading; sister, Patricia Woods, of Orlando, FL; niece, Annie; and nephew, Matthew.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 9, 2021 at 8:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
