AGE: 59 • Plainfield
William Curtis Maxey, 59, departed this life Thurs. April 10, 2014 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Richmond, VA., he was a lifelong Plainfield resident. Known to everyone as Curtis, he was employed with Easter Seals in Plainfield. Curtis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield.
Surviving are his wife Toni Maxey; 4 daughters Esster Maxey and her fiancé Andrew Jackson, OK'Sun Maxey (Crisie Strawder), Naomi Larkins (Rodney) and Tristine Harris; 3 sons Russell and Justin Maxey and Anthony Nelson, Jr. (Paula).; 9 grandchildren; a sister Joan Cary; a brother Raymond O. Lee (Sharee); 2 aunts Nancy Holman and Ruth Maxey and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Tues. 11am in Calvary Baptist Church, 324 Monroe Ave, Plainfield preceded by viewing at 10am. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home. (www.brownsfuneralhome.net)

To the Maxey Family God will give you strengh to get through this just trust and believe. Curtis will be missed at Calvary Baptist Church for his cooking and personality. He was a classmate of mind. God Bless You All.
