LETART — Sandi Jo Stephens, 61 of Letart, went home to be with the Lord on Monday March, 29, 2021 at 11:55 a.m. at St. Mary's hospital after suffering a massive heart attack.
She was born August 14, 1959 in Point Pleasant to Carl and JoAnn (Richmond) Baker. Sandi graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1978. She was a insurance agent for many years at City Insurance, she also worked with Kitty Korral. She loved dancing, camping, fishing, karaoke and she loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Baker, husband, Brian K. (Doodle) Stephens, grandmother, Hettie Hobbs and her fur baby Miloh.
She is survived by her mother, JoAnn Baker, sons, Jason Kinnard, Nathan (April) Stephens, Craig (Kim) Stephens, daughters, Bethany (Matt) Rupe, Korie (Jonah) Brown, brothers, Kenneth (Kim) Richmond, Steve (Bev) Richmond, grandchildren, Tristen Roush, Kaycee Roush, Isaiah Brown, River Stephens, Cash Stephens, Lincoln Stephens, Diem Stephens, Beckett Stephens, Trenton Lucas and her boyfriend, Sam Nibert. Sandi touched many lives and was considered the neighborhood mom. She will forever be loved and missed.
A funeral service will be held Thursday April 1. 2021 at 2 p.m. at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Carl Swisher officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior the service. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Flatrock. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.

Aunt Joann and family, I so enjoyed visiting with Sandi at Dad’s birthday party (Russell Hobbs). She will be missed I’m sure. My heart is sad for y’all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Sandi’s family and friends. Sandi was always good to me and my kids and I considered her a good friend. The past year I’ve gotten to know her better and I am very thankful for that. My deepest condolences, she will be greatly missed.
