Colette Jones Obituary
In 1956 Colette embarked on a journey from France to America by ship. She learned to speak English by watching soap operas and never lost her charming french accent. Colette settled in Rock Hall in the early 1970s and was immensely proud to become a US citizen.
She spent many years as a breakfast cook for Pasta Plus in Rock Hall.
Colette loved to watch sports, particularly golf, Orioles and Ravens games, She took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren play ball. Colette enjoyed dressing up and going dancing with her friends, spending quality time with her family, doing her work search puzzles, cooking and savoring a glass of wine.
Colette is survived by her sister Bluette and nephew Patrick in LaRochelle France. her children Rose Taylor of Rock Hall, Frank Jones (Tammy) of Lexington, TN, Irene Giobbe (Joe) of Newark, DE, Calvin Crouch III (Karen) of Chestertown MD, Charles Crouch (Michelle) of Galena MD, Christopher Crouch of Rock Hall, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Colette will be deeply missed by all who knew her but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.

No one will ever understand the sadness that overcomes me. She may have been my grandmother but she was just as much a mother. Without her and her guidance, I´m sure I wouldn´t be where I am today. I am really missing you right now. I will see you again. Be waiting at the gates for me Mommom, I´ll need that hug and kiss. Rest easy Frenchy. I love you more than anything in this world!!
