Billy Perkins Obituary
He was born Feb. 8, 1942, in Wayne County, Ky., the son of Wayne and Lexie Miller Perkins. He married Mary Ellen Davis on Aug. 28, 1965, and she preceded him in death Oct. 8, 1989.
He is survived by five sons, Wayne Perkins of Columbia, Miss., Ted (wife, Jean) Perkins of Carlinville, Billy Joe (wife, Kathleen) Perkins of Palmyra, Leonard (wife, Ann Marie) Perkins of Hettick and Mark (wife, Lina) Perkins of Palmyra; one daughter Ellen (husband, Paul) Baldwin of Jacksonville; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jimmy Perkins of Somerset, Ky., Arlon (wife, Jody) Perkins of Liberty, Ky., Donnie (wife, Theresa) Perkins of Ashland and Larry Perkins of Beardstown; six sisters, Sara Ralston, Ann Perkins and Mary Helen (husband, Dick) Foster, all of Jacksonville, Lexie (husband, Rick) Conner of Pittsfield, Tina (husband, Jack) White of Franklin and Brenda (husband, Rich) Pipkin of Nilwood; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Joe Perkins and Bob Perkins (surviving wife, Eileen of Somerset, Ky.); and one sister, Betty Harris (surviving husband, Bob of Gillespie).
Mr. Perkins was employed in construction and farming. He enjoyed taking care of and spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Clark Cemetery, west of Virginia. The family will meet friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.

Ellen and Boys,
Please know how sorry we are at your loss. Your dad and our dads are all together now. They can look down and gossip about what and how we are doing things. We can see them all sitting in the shed together. It is hard to lose them but they are in a much better place.
