Henry Ren Obituary
Deepwater - Henry 'Hank' Donaldson Ren, age 59, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. Hank's wishes were for cremation. A Celebration of Life held on Friday May 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Frederick Christian Church in Frederick, Illinois with the Rev. Matt Haberman officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Frederick Christian Church or Park Grove Christian Church.
Henry Donaldson Ren (Hanky) was born on May 30, 1965, to Henry C and Peggy Ren. He went to Rushville, Illinois High School. He worked as a tow boat first mate for years until he moved to Missouri where he was a logger. He was an avid deer hunter to which he has several Trophy Deers. He loved to croppie fish and hunt mushrooms. He loved the outdoors and he never knew a stranger.
Hank is survived by his four boys, Jeremy David, Adam (Heather), and Aaron Ren of Beardstown, Illinois, and Dylan (Brittany) Ren of Wonderlake, Illinois; sisters, Rebecca Searcy (Brad) of Edwardsville, Illinois, Vickie Turner of Deepwater, Missouri; Cliff Lewis (who was like a brother) of Deepwater, Missouri; his grandsons, Jacob, Charlie, Lucas Jameson and Parker; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry C. Ren; grandparents, George and Alice Ren, Harry and Ermine Eaton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
