Susan Feaster Obituary
Roodhouse - Susan E. Feaster, 74, of Roodhouse passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, in Jacksonville. She was born Sept. 20, 1949, in St. Louis, MO, raised by her stepfather, John Hays and her mother, Cecilia Elaine Wunderlich Hays. She married Richard D. Feaster Jr., in 1987.
Surviving is her husband, Richard of Roodhouse; children, Richard D. Feaster III of Roodhouse and Amanda Lynn Feaster of IA; grandson, John Auston of Roodhouse; brothers, Terry Hays of West Alton, MO and Gary Peters of Dow; sister-in-law, Donna Feaster of MN and brothers-in-law, Dale Feaster and Carl Feaster both of the Quad Cities.
Sue was a member of Youngblood Baptist Church in Nortonville. She was her husband's best fishing partner.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Daws Family Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.

We know Sue from Lake Jacksonville. She was a character for sure. She always had a smile and it was contagious! She will be missed by many out there!

Sending my dearest condolences to Susie´s family during this time of need. Susie was one of the most generous, kind and light hearted women I´d ever met. She enjoyed seeing my children & I out and about and always had kind words to say to us. She was always a delight to see on Sunday mornings at church. She will be dearly missed. Prayers & love going out to her family and friends.

Our deepest sympathies to Susie´s family for their great loss. My husband and I went to Church with her and she just always brought such joy with her. She was definitely a light in this dark world, and we will miss her so very much, but she´s with Jesus now, and that gives us great comfort. We love you Susie.
