Brattleboro- Barbara Ann Latronica, 85, of Fuller Drive, a resident of Brattleboro since 1970, died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at her home with her family by her side following a period of declining health. Barbara was born in the Richmond Hill section of Queens, New York on October 8, 1939, the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Krupa) Glembocki. She was raised and educated in Queens and was a graduate of John Adams High School, Class of 1957. Prior to relocating to Brattleboro with her husband 55 years ago, the Latronicas made their home in Jamacia, Queens. Barbara earned her certificate as a Licensed Nurses Assistant and had been employed as an LNA at Eden Park Nursing Home for many years. On a part-time basis, with her husband, she made an assortment of homemade candy which they distributed to several locations in the Brattleboro area. A devout Catholic, Barbara was a communicant of Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Of her hobbies and interests, she enjoyed ceramics, cake decorating, baking, cooking and time shared with her family, especially her granddaughter. On May 14, 1967, at Saint Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church in Jamaica, New York, she was married to Vincent J. Latronica who predeceased her on March 17, 2024. Survivors include one son, Anthony V. Latronica; a daughter, Anna N. Borgatti and husband Joseph Jr., and her granddaughter, Ava K. Borgatti, all of Brattleboro; one brother, Thomas Glembocki and wife Michele of Port Charlotte, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Robert, who died in infancy. In keeping with her final wishes, no formal funeral services are scheduled. She will be laid to rest in Saint Michael's Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Windham County Humane Society, P.O.
