MICHAEL ANDREW LAMM
LEXINGTON, Ga. — Michael Andrew Lamm, 32, of Lexington, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021.
Michael was born on Sept. 4, 1988 in Lumberton, to Evelyn Pridgen Lamm and Michael Scott Lamm. He graduated from high school and then joined the United States National Guard where he served until Sept. 6, 2013, deploying to both Iraq and Egypt. Following his discharge, Michael worked in the natural gas field and was known to be a "jack of all trades."
He was married to Kelli Anne Vick Lamm for 12 years and was the father of Andrew Hunter and Michael Gage. Michael was a devoted member of the nonprofit organization, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, and was committed to their motto of "Vets helping Vets." He was an active member of The Boy Scouts of America, reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. He also served as a den leader for many years and was in training to be a cub master.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Allen Lamm; and grandfather, Carlton Lee Pridgen.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Kelli, of Lexington, Georgia; and their sons, Andrew Hunter, and Michael Gage; his father, Michael Scott Lamm; mother, Evelyn Pridgen Lamm; grandmother, Barbara Hagin Lamm; grandmother, Ethel Rose Barnes, sister, Krista Rose Guin; brother-in-law, Richard Wayne Guin; sister-in-law, Kara Vick Boyer; brother-in-law, Robert Charles Boyer; nieces Katherine Elizabeth Boyer, and Madelyn Kate Guin; and nephews Liam Isaac Guin, Silas Blake Guin, and Kaleb Eugene Boyer.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021 at Lord and Stephens East Chapel at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021 at Lord and Stephens East Chapel. The burial will follow on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in honor of Michael's children.
