Marilyn Covington

Marilyn Covington HART -- Funeral services for Marilyn Covington, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ with Aaron Lee and the Rev. Matt Baird officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Covington died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, in Lubbock. She was born on Oct. 28, 1933, in Bonham to Earl Woodrow and Mary Margaret Collum Stone. She married Kenneth Covington on Dec. 15, 1951. Mrs. Covington was a member of Hart Church of Christ. She worked as a bookkeeper for Smith Potato Inc., for 20 years. She was the president and member of the Hart Golden Group and a member of Wheels-A-GoGo RV Group (WAGG) for three years. Survivors include her husband; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and George Sweet of San Angelo, one brother, Earl Stone Jr. of Hart; one sister, Betty Moore of Amarillo; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight in Colonial Funeral Home.
