Anthony Campolongo Obituary
Myrtle Beach, SC
Anthony E. Campolongo Jr, 53, formerly of Greensburg, PA, died Saturday, July 8, 2017. Born January 4, 1964, in Greensburg, PA, a son of the late Anthony E. and Elizabeth Louise (Fetsko) Campolongo. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his nephew, Zachary James McQuaide. Tony was a former math teacher at Berkley County School District, Timberland High School and St. Stephens High School in Monks Corner, SC. After transferring to Horry County School District, he was employed as a math teacher at Myrtle Beach High School. Tony was currently employed at Carolina Road House and had also worked at Key West Grill in Myrtle Beach. He is survived by five sisters, Susan Campolongo, Nancy Bolkovac and husband Jon, Linda McQuaide and husband Greg, Mary Baker and husband Calvin all of Pennsylvania, and Patricia Campolongo of Fairfax, SC. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and very close friends, Jeff and Susan Mense and family of Myrtle Beach. The family will receive friends Friday, July 14th at McMillan-Small Funeral Home from 2:00PM until 4:00PM and a second viewing with a prayer service between the hours of 6:00PM and 8:00PM. Mr. Camp, you will forever be my favorite teacher. The one who took the time after school to help me understand the material. I think of you often and tell my kids of the man that helped a hopeless math student understand the importance of and the art behind the numbers. I know you are in a better place; peace, love and joy are your portions. Rest in peace and I pray your family and friends are comforted and strengthened in your absence.

Sending my condolences....
I tried looking for you after my college graduation in 2000 to let you know that I became a teacher. I tried looking for you again in 2015 when I became a math coach to let you know that you have truly inspired me to do what I do for the love of children and math. Your Algebra classes were refreshing and I learned so much. You made learning fun. I still have the bracelet you brought back from your trip to Disney. You will be forever missed Mr. Camp.

Such a wonderful friend, great teacher and roommate for two years as we started our teaching careers in South Carolina. Tony will be missed and never forgotten. Rest In Peace my dear friend. I love you.

Went to college with Tony. Lost touch when he moved. He was a great friend at Pitt. He expressed his dream of moving to SC when we were in Math together. It was great to see him reach his goals.
My condolences to his family , you are in my prayers.
