Clarence R. Nordbruch, age 89, of Brick Twp., formerly of Calabash, NC passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. Mr. Nordbruch was born in Lyndhurst, NJ and lived in Neptune, NJ and Ocean Twp., NJ before moving to Calabash in 1981. He moved back to NJ in 2012. Mr. Nordbruch was a mechanical engineer for Bendix Corp. for many years until his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and, while living in Calabash, was an active member of the ELKS #2679. His wife, Norma predeceased him in 2012. Mr. Nordbruch is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn & Ron Sofield and Ellen & Sam Brann; his step-daughters, Suzanne Allen and Trish & Paul Archimbaud; his grandchildren Stephen, Ron, Andrea, Kimberly, Mark, Kerri and Ryan; his great-grandchildren Kylie, Jake, Ty, Emmaline, Trent, Isabella, Madelyn, Dominic, Kayla, Sebastian, Nathan and Adriana. Cremation will be private under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, 1252 Rt 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
