Grace Larimore Obituary

MARION | Mrs. Grace Turner Larimore, 87, widow of Henry Seafus Larimore, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003 at her residence after an illness.

Mrs. Larimore was born May 10, 1916 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Pearly and Amelia Sawyer Turner. Mrs. Larimore was a homemaker and attended West Marion Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Larimore are her children, Darlene Carroway and her husband, Don, of Florence, Dargan Larimore and his wife, Bertha, of Burgaw, N.C., Dixie Martin and Donnie Larimore, both of Marion; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Larimore was predeceased by two sons, Dalton Larimore and Darrell Larimore, and a granddaughter, Angela Craig.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, Nov. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Maxie Hardee and the Rev. Hank Reynolds officiating. The services will be directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home.
