James Austin Obituary



MYRTLE BEACH | James Perry Austin, 59, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at his residence.

Mr. Austin was born in Waukegan, Illinois, the only son of the late J. Perry and Genevieve Austin.

He volunteered to serve in the U.S. Air Force as an operating room technician in Vietnam. Mr. Austin was a devoted father to his children, and found great purpose in serving his patients with loving care as a nurse for over 30 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Alissa Austin of Coppell, Texas; and a son, Ezekiel Austin and his wife, Julie, of Wilmington, Del.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m.. Monday, December 22, 2008 in Arlington National Cemetery.

I enjoyed working with Jim at Lighthouse. He was a caring individual who gave his all when taking care of his patients. My prayers and thoughts are with his children who he was so proud of and loved so much.
