My sympathies to the family and friends of John Scarpa. He was a fine and gentle man. I liked him a lot. We we shared stories, opinions, likes and dislikes back in the 70's at PMD. He was such a good guy! A man who will be missed by the many, many people who loved him. R.I.P.

Irene, I will miss him. John,Harold and I had great times together in Public Morals. Beside being a great detective, he was a great family man who cared about you and the kids. I remember the calls he use to get from you about the kids and how promptly he would address the issues. But what I respected most about him was when he made a decision on any issue that he thought was right he would not wavier. Irene, knowing John, he'll work a deal out with God in heaven and find a good gig. God Bless John, You and the family.
