I knew Marv from his time at WLWL Radio in Rockingham, NC. We ran with the same crew. I learned of his death only today. John Wall 708 C Church Street Chapel Hill NC 27516

I knew Marv when he was a DJ in Hawaii and he gave me a copy of the "Velveteen Rabbit." His voice was mesmerizing and he was a great guy. I'm sad I lost touch once I joined the military. Rest Peacefully my friend.

An extraordinary air-talent and dear friend. Marv used his creativity to create 'theater of the mind' for his loyal fans and listeners. Some of my greatest moments and times were spent with Marv in Myrtle Beach. The last time I saw Marv, before leaving the beach, he pulled a dollar bill from his pocket, tore it down the middle, and handed me half. "What's this," I asked. Marv's reply, "No matter what happens, you'll never be broke, I will have the other half." Classic Marv.... Thank you Marv, for the inspiration, good times, fun, and most of all, 'Friendship.' I love you buddy. Mike Willis

I enjoyed listening to Marv on WKZQ back in the '80's. I also had the pleasure of meeting him when I was working at Walmart and would run into him from time to time since then. He genuinely came across as a really great guy! He will be missed.

Marvelous Marv Clark set the standard when it came to using the power of radio to help others. He made a difference in a lot of folks lives through his charity work. I never worked with Marv, but our paths crossed many times. He was always a gentleman and a true professional. I'm saddened by the news of his passing. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends.

I met Marv in May 2004 at Bluegreen. I liked him immediately, as did everyone he ever encountered. He was a kind man. A gentleman and comic. A philosopher and a dreamer. Obviously very well respected, and he openly loved his family beyond all. I only pray I can live up to half of what this man has done for the ones around him. Goodbye, "Marvelous Marv". You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.

Marv was one of the few people who could make such a true emotional impact on those around him. He was able to reach right in and touched our hearts and souls with his stories, jokes, and genuine kindness. It seemed that was just who he was. The various works he has done over the years has made real differences in the lives of the people he has touched.

He always spoke highly of his wife and children. His love and admiration for for them was always apparent.

He introduced me to Michael and my life has not been the same since. I have always hoped to see him at our wedding so we could thank him. He believed in me when others did not. He taught me things I utilize daily and I will carry with me always.

We send our prayers of love, peace, and comfort to your family. The world has truly lost one of it's best, but not without leaving his mark. He will be missed greatly.
