Nicholas "Nick" Holliday, age 17, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
Nicholas was born on February 2, 1995 in Conway, son of Nick Holliday and Lorraine M. Holliday.
He attended Surfside Baptist Church where he was involved with the youth group. Nicholas was a Senior at Socastee High School where he was a member of the Socastee Singers and was involved with the Drama Department. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Bob (Grandpie) Matheson.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father are, one brother, Tyler Holliday, maternal grandmother, Carmen Matheson, maternal grandfather, David Burns, paternal grandparents, Robert "Bob" and Marion Holliday, aunt, Betsy Holliday (Rob Springer) and uncles, Dave Burns (Carolyn), John Burns (Mary Beth), John Holliday and Mark Holliday (Terron) and Paul Holliday.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday at Socastee Baptist Church with Rev. David Pohto, Rev. John Rea and Rev. Brian Timney officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to Socastee High School Chorus Booster Club, c/o Farrah Beaudry, 4900 Socastee Bld., Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

Lorraine, Nick and Tyler, I see Nicholas as the 8 year old boy he was when we moved away. Lanky, goofy and awkward with those big feet. He and Molly running around the neighborhood, always hugging and laughing. My heart goes out to you. May his memory be for a blessing.
