Roy Steiger Obituary

Roy John Steiger age 79, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at his residence in Spring Forest.
Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Frances Steiger. Mr. Steiger was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW in Murrells Inlet. Mr. Steiger retired in 1993 from UGI Utilities in Reading, PA.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn L. Steiger of Murrells Inlet; daughters, Wendy (N.J.) Cekovich of Mechanicsburg, PA, Debby (George) Kubovick of Reading, PA, Tammy (Keith) Schmehl of Reading, PA; Sharon (Larry) Heaney of Shillington, PA and Lynn (Gregory) Lewis of Stevens, PA; a sister, Rosemarie Eggenberger of Aiken, SC; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Reverend Jeff Wallace and N. J. Cekovich officiating.
