null Ellis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home - Jacksonville on Jan. 8, 2026.
Carl Frank Ellis known to friends as Buster Ellis born on January 5, 1938 to parents Flemming Pierce Ellis and Nora Alta (Garrett) Ellis in Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2026 and Wanda Lee (Eason) Ellis born on July 20, 1943 to parents William Thomas Eason and Lottie Maude (Gaines) Eason in Little Rock, AR, passed away peacefully with family and loved ones at her side on January 4, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of deep love and family devotion. They shared 55 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

Together they built a beautiful life centered around one another and family. Buster served in the US Navy, he enjoyed doing things around the house, taking care of his plants, making windchimes, and bird feeders but his top priority was taking care of his loving wife Wanda. Wanda was known as a social butterfly, never meeting a stranger, being silly along with being a little feistly at times, she enjoyed being an active part of the community working at Partners For Progress a Christian emergency food and clothes closet in Perryville, Arkansas where they had planted their roots off and on for over 45 years.

They are survived by their only daughter, Terri Yarberry, two grandsons, Aaron Yarberry, Michael Lowe and wife Debbie Lowe of Milam, TX and extended family.

Buster is survived by his two brothers, Buddy Garrett and Jackie Garrett and preceding in Buster's death are, father, Flemming Pierce Ellis; mother, Nora Alta (Garrett) Ellis; three sisters, Mary Whitaker, Audrey Crow, Billie Jean Hovland; and one brother, Rodger Dale Garrett.

Preceding in Wanda's death are, her father, William Thomas Eason; mother, Lottie Maude (Gaines) Eason; two brothers, Billy Eason and Harvey Eason; and three sisters, Maxine Eason, Helen Gonnelly and Mary Lockert.

A joint celebration of life to honor them will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 12:00p.m. at Perryville First Baptist Church, 207 4th Street, Perryville, Arkansas 72126. Per their wishes, cremation was chosen and Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home has been entrusted with their care.

They will be deeply missed but forever carried in our hearts and their love will continue to guide us as an example of the meaning of true unconditional love.
