Aaron Benoit Obituary
After Aaron graduated from East Lyme High School in 1997, he went on to work independently as a general contractor. In 1989, Aaron met Kelly at East Lyme Middle School and it was love at first sight. Aaron and Kelly went on to have four beautiful children. They all have that same fire and passion for life that Aaron had; he lives through them. Aaron, an all-star high school inside linebacker for ELHS, devoted countless hours to the East Lyme Youth Football League and loved the sport. An avid Chicago Bears Fan who helped us all get amped up for any game! His energy didn't waver on those nights.
Aaron was also an avid snowmobiler, skier, and boater. Aaron, among many things, was his family's light, foundation, and core, and had been since he and Kelly first fell in love in middle school. Four precious children later, their love story is one for the ages.
Aaron is survived by his beloved wife Kelly; and their children, Andrew, William, Kennedy and Ireland. He is also survived by his parents, Greg and Kate; his brothers, Jamie and Ryan; his sister Kamille; and his maternal grandmother Beverly Eubanks; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We will all remember him as a phenomenal friend and confidant, with a one-of-a-kind personality, humor, and the most generous heart. Please hold his energy and love in your hearts: he would have wanted nothing less.
Graveside services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
