We, as a family, are profoundly heartbroken that we have lost to the universe a true jewel in our family crown.
Son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who touched the lives around you in insurmountable ways. You loved, lived, and embraced life on your own unapologetic terms. You were always the life of the party, not as a goal, but simply because your presence cast such a humongous shadow. Our lives, left in the balance, are truly diminished as a hole has been ripped in our souls. The sun will never shine quite as bright as we go on without you, but you will forever live on in the lives that you touched, in the stories we tell, and the memory of that infectious smile.
Born December 7th, 1991, to David Bernald and Stacy Ann Noelani, Aaron entered the world a rambunctious and happy child. Everything he did he did to the extreme. Whether it was soccer, long boarding, rock climbing, or his love of concerts and festivals, he went all in and it became his primary focus. He was a fierce friend, and he gathered those friends like they were precious possessions.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Lois Bernesser and Robert Nichols, and his Uncle Clay. He is survived by his grandma Lynn, Grandma Kar, his parents David and Stacy, His brothers David and Elijah (Marlee Craker), his sister Kela (JD Holmgren), his best friend Justin Rinaldi, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
All of us adored him and his passing has left us empty and heartbroken.
Peace be with you our precious son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. You are forever in our hearts.
