Aaron D. Fleming, age 40 of Orlando, FL died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Born on September 4, 1984 in
Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Daniel and Denise (Saxbury) Fleming. Aaron attended Corning East High School, and later attended Cosmetology School. Aaron was a Redken certified color specialist with over 25 years of experience. For the past 7 years, Aaron built his career with Ulta Beauty in Orlando. During his time at Ulta, he elevated his career with additional certifications, and was rewarded in 2023 with the highest title of Elite Stylist. This year, Aaron was a top performer in the district and was trending to be a part of the $100k Club of Stylists. Aaron was loved by his entire Ulta family.
Aaron was an avid animal lover whose compassion for all creatures great and small was evident in every aspect of his life. He had an adventurous spirit and a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and meet new people. With a quick wit and infectious laugh, he had a great sense of humor and was truly the life of the party.
Whether belting out a favorite tune at karaoke or sharing stories with friends and family, he brought joy and laughter to every gathering. He deeply loved his family and cherished his friendships, always making time for the people who mattered most.
Although not born and raised in the south, he was a proud southerner. He found peace in the warm breeze, spending countless happy days at the beach. His vibrant spirit, love of life, and big heart will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Aaron is survived by his sister, Sara Fleming and her husband, Ross Brewer of Bath, NY; paternal grandparents, James and Janice Gerow of
Corning, NY; grandmother, Cindy Saxbury of Addison, NY; aunts and uncles: Steve (Vicky) Saxbury, Dianna (Brian) Crawford and Deanna DeGraw; nephew, Arlee Fleming; niece, Karigan Fleming; several cousins; past companion, Krista Dubsky and her daughter, Mykilah who brought joy to his life; and his beloved dog, Mika Fleming. In addition to his family, Aaron was shaped by the steady support of Rick Crawford, a mentor and father figure in his life.
In addition to his parents, Aaron was predeceased by his grandfather, Ernest Saxbury; great grandmother, Genevieve Potter 'Grandma P"; maternal grandmother, Elsa VanCuran.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St.,
Corning, NY. Burial will take place at a later date in the family plot in Presho Cemetery, Lindley.
