Aaron Andrew Groves, 35, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Born August 3, 1990, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nancy King Groves, of Fayetteville and the late Alan Groves.
Aaron was a 2009 graduate of St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School. He was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Keystone Health in Chambersburg. Aaron was an excellent husband and father to his “sweet girls”, Reagan and Kennedy. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, playing video games and gardening.
In addition to his mother, Aaron is survived by his wife, Karli R. Helman Groves, whom he married on October 16, 2021; two daughters, Reagan and Kennedy Groves; his brother, Joshua Morrison of Gettysburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lloyd “Doug” Helman and Kim Helman of Chambersburg; one uncle, Gary Groves (wife Ping) of Summit Point, WV; aunt, Pamela Groves of Winchester, VA; several cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from his father, Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Allen and Marjorie Groves; and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Louise King.
A memorial service for his friends and family will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Bill Shank will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences and memories may be shared at geiselfuneralhome.com.
