Aaron was what one could only describe as a true friend. Kind, generous, attentive and full of love. I will always cherish the conversations we had, his humour and his wit. His passion and his love for those around him. The many laughs we shared and the valuable pieces of advice that have helped me through many a dark night. Aaron's friendship, though only online, was genuine in the sense that I find it difficult to describe without doing him a great disservice. I always felt heard and understood and Aaron's kindness has touched my heart and soul in more ways than I can say. My deepest condolences to his family and friends and all those who knew and loved him. May you rest easy now Aaron. Thank you for all love you gave.

I first met Aaron in 2018 when he came to my house looking for a kitty to adopt from my rescue. From across the room he locked eyes with a little kitten named Moonpie and, in Aaron's words, his heart immediately turned to "goo" -- it was love at first sight. That day, Moonpie went home to live with Aaron and, from that day forward, Aaron proudly referred to himself in social media as "Moonpie's Daddy" and was never shy about expressing his adoration for her. From the day Aaron took Moonpie home in 2018 until the last conversation we had at the end of this past July, Aaron never failed to express his gratitude for being able to be Moonpie's " cat daddy". The ability to be so genuine and unashamed in expressing his emotions is only one of so many wonderful qualities Aaron possessed, and the word "loss" falls woefully short in describing the void left without him here. My heartfelt condolences to his family and all who loved him.
