Aaron Martin Obituary
Aaron J. Martin, 74, of Stevensville passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.
A celebration of life graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, at Temple B'nai Sholom Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Aaron was born on Nov. 10, 1951, in St. Joseph to Morris and Etta (Cohen) Martin. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1970. Professionally, Aaron was an investor working with various companies. Following a terrible accident that occurred 33 years ago that left him brain damaged and lasting effects to his vision, speech and ability to walk, Aaron maintained a positive outlook for life and a good sense of humor. He enjoyed being around dogs, watching any professional football games and fishing on Lake Michigan.
Aaron is survived by his cousins: Jay A. Fishman, Marcia Fishman, Rosalind Poynter, Marlene Flamm, Reva Wygant, Rose Undem, Ilene Cohen, Marla Mashak, Rochelle Mahler, Fanchon Cohen, David Cohen and Anita Cohen, Carol Ann Shaver, Larry Martin, Abe Martin and Steve Martin; and very special friend and caregiver, Carole Reinhardt and his special caregivers: Theresa Lau and Kathy Greco.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Morris and Etta and sister, Raisie Martin.
