Aaron Quimby

Lloyd Aaron Quimby, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2023. Aaron was born in Coldwater, MI, on December 12, 1981, the youngest child of Lloyd and Nila (Golliver) Quimby. Aaron is survived by his beloved family, wife Michelle, sons Hayden (8) and Tyler (6), and stepsons Luke Gerlinger (20) and Evan Gerlinger (18), fur babies Lily and Hutch; mother Nila, sister Michele Nobach, brothers Jason (Theresa) and Damian (Amy), and loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Aaron was preceded in death by a brother, John, his father, Lloyd "Mick" Quimby, grandparents Lloyd and Vivian Quimby, and George and Bette Golliver.
Aaron, a standout athlete at Quincy High School, also played on the Hope College baseball team where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. Aaron had a long, successful retail career in management at both Walmart and Meijer. In his spare time, you could find Aaron participating in some of the activities he loved most: spending time with his two boys and playing sports. Whether it was teaching Hayden and Tyler to throw a baseball, golfing, fishing, boating, coaching their little league teams, or attending a Detroit Tigers game, Aaron treasured every moment he had with his boys. He cared deeply for his sons and the memories he made with them will live on forever. He was known for his kind and gentle personality and was loved by many. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Funeral Services will take place at 4:00 P.M. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27 at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Aaron's name may be made to the family, care of Michelle Quimby, for the purposes of their children's educational fund.
