Aaron Roberson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Goldfinch Funeral Home - Conway Chapel on Jan. 12, 2024.
Dr. Aaron Junior Roberson was born on April 4th, 1950 in Boaz, Alabama. He passed away on January 5th, 2024 from natural causes. Aaron was 73 years of age.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin J and Imogene (Jolley) Roberson and sisters Martha Roberson, Mary Leach and Shirley Shear. He is survived by nephews and niece; Troy Roberson, Dennis Segler, Justin Leach and Nicole Rowe, as well as their children and grandchildren.
Aaron spent most of his younger years in Illinois graduating from Limestone Community High School in Bartonville, IL and soon took up the trades as Pipefitter in the local in Peoria, IL. In his immediate year following high school, he attended Illinois Community College. After a few years in the trades, Aaron made a major career change and enrolled at Logan School of Chiropractic. Aaron also extended his advance studies St. Petersburg Russia.
After completing his studies, Aaron set up practice in home state of Alabama. He soon had the itch to head west. He settled on one of his most beloved places to road trip, Klamath Falls, OR to continue his practice. In Klamath Falls, he became simply known as "Doc" to his patients. Upon his retirement, Aaron moved to much warmer weather in Conway, SC.
Throughout his life Aaron was an avid Harley Davidson rider. If he wasn't focusing on his practice, he was out on cross-country road trips exploring the beauty this country has to offer. The family always joked about his entire wardrobe built around Harley t-shirts from every state he traveled. Most of his closest friendships were forged though the love of riding. He continued his passion right up to his final days. Aaron was also an active Shriner and enjoyed participating in variety of their charities.
Family and friends will always remember his endless energy that only a rare few could keep up with. Although he could have a short temper, he was equally known for a devilish sense of humor. His family and friends will think fondly of his willingness to express his love and always be there when needed.
The family plans to memorialize Aaron in the coming months in its own special way. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Aaron's favorite charity, Shriners Hospital for Children in his name.
