Conway…

Alexia Sleep, 62, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Conway, South Carolina. Born on March 6, 1963, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, she lived a life marked by deep love, unwavering devotion to her family, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her.

A dedicated follower of her faith, Alexia was known for always being there for her family, no matter the cost. She was known for her boundless compassion and the way she treated everyone like family. Her love was wholehearted and unconditional-when she gave it, she gave it fully.

Alexia was a loving wife to David Sleep and a proud mother to her sons, Jimmy Truett II (Trish) and Travis Truett (Kristyn). Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy; she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren: Jimmy Truett III (Riley), Haleigh Truett (Jordan), Tristan Cannon, Corbin Cannon, Camden Truett, Karleigh Truett, Rowen Truett, Aspen Truett, and Carter Truett and great grandchildren, Lawton, River, Rayleigh, Henleigh, and Nate. Whether cheering at races or applauding at recitals, Alexia was always there to support them with pride and affection.

She shared close bonds with her siblings-Judy Huckabee and Malinda Hardwick; Donnie Hearl and Greg Hearl-and held the memory of her late parents, Barbara Jean Hamilton and Levon Skipper. She also loved her many nieces and nephews dearly. She also honored the legacy of her grandparents, George James Holloway Skipper and Eliza Naomi Skipper.

Alexia had a creative soul and found joy in making homemade crafts. She loved traveling with family and friends-treasured times that created lasting memories. Her heart held special places for Carolyn Katona and Inez Truett, whose presence enriched her life deeply.

She was not only a devoted family member but also a hardworking woman whose kindness knew no bounds. Always ready to lend a hand or offer comfort, Alexia's warmth left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and serve as a reminder of the strength of unconditional love. A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, 606-610 Beaty St., Conway, SC. A Graveside Service will follow on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 Hwy 544, Conway SC.
