Aaron T. Temple

Aaron Thomas Temple, age 54 of Waldo, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, surrounded by his family. Aaron fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Aaron was born on June 3, 1970, in Marion, the son of Fred Temple and Anna (Sandusky) Temple. He attended Waldo Elementary and was a 1988 graduate of River Valley High School. After graduation, he worked at the Waldo Sohio and cherished those memories. He worked with a lot of his family at Whirlpool and finished his working career for 35 years at P.P.G. in Delaware where he worked until he became completely incapacitated in early 2024, not wanting to neglect his obligations in the Maintenance Department as mechanic, electrician and instrument repair.
He enjoyed the shenanigans of his co-workers especially the childish co-workers that never offered a dull or boring day. He wanted his co-workers to know that they were like his family, whether he showed it or not. Aaron served his Union, U.A.W. Local 1588 in various positions including Recording Secretary.
Very close to his heart was working alongside his grandfather on the family farm. Growing up he liked getting dirty and enjoying the woods along the Olentangy River behind the farm. He loved off- road vehicles (his favorite pastime) along with tinkering with his friends on the way too many muscle cars and sports.
Aaron deeply loved his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Temple, his granddaughter, Violet, his mother Anna Temple, his grandmother Alicia Sandusky, and his son-in-law Michael Lansing. Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Fred Temple, brother Todd Temple, grandfather Wayland Temple, grandmother Mildred Temple, and grandfather Clarence Sandusky.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion, Ohio. The service will follow immediately at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Galen McLeod officiating.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
