Abbigail Johnson, a beautiful young woman with a huge heart, passed away on September 8, 2023, in Calera, AL. She was born on April 5, 2000, in Chattanooga, TN.
Abbigail was known for her infectious smile that could light up any room. Her sense of humor and quick wit brought laughter to those around her. She had a deep and unwavering love for her siblings and family, and she fiercely protected and cared for them.
She attended Calera High School and graduated in 2017. Abbigail had dreams of becoming a cosmetologist and had a profound passion for all things makeup and fashion. She possessed a unique talent for designing and creating her own clothing rather than purchasing them. Alongside her interest in fashion, she also enjoyed expressing herself through singing and writing her own songs and poetry.
Abbigail's creativity knew no bounds. She was constantly exploring new ideas and seeking inspiration from the world around her. Her mind was always brimming with innovative thoughts, making each day an adventure filled with surprises.
To honor Abbigail's life, visitation services will be held at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin, TN on September 14, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:30 PM. The burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in Westmoreland, TN at 3:00 PM.
Abbigail leaves behind a deeply grieving family who adored her. Her surviving family members include her mother Susan Johnson, father Joseph Johnson, brother Parker Johnson, sister Summer Burrage. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Denver Johnson, grandmother Marsha Johnson, uncle Steve Johnson, aunt Anne Hadley, and uncle David Hadley. Their memories of Abbigail will forever remain in their hearts, and they will carry her spirit with them always.
In Abbigail's time on this earth, she brought joy, love, and laughter to all who knew her. She touched the lives of many with her kind and compassionate nature. While we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable individual, let us also celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. Abbigail will be remembered as an inspiring soul with unwavering determination and made a lasting impact on all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
