A celebration of life will be held for Abby Hilliard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hilliard Funeral Home with Pastors Mike Calhoun and Keith Boone officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held an hour before the service, starting at 5:00 p.m. At Abby's request, please wear all things pink and sparkly.
Abby Cecile Roberts Hilliard was born June 16, 1985, in Plano, Texas and grew up in Bullard. She graduated from Bullard High School in 2004. She was a cheerleader at heart, cheering in both high school and for an All-Star team, and coaching for several years. She also played volleyball for Bullard. Abby had a witty personality and an infectious laugh. Her whole world revolved around her son, Kingston and she loved to spend time with him and her poodle/best buddy, Talluela Mae.
Abby started her work career with Brookshires and then worked at Hilliard Hardware for many years. She got into pharmaceutical sales with Adapt Health and more recently worked her favorite job ever with Viatris.
Abby passed away at the age of 40 on October 22, 2025, in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecile Schaumburg, George Davis, Mattie Lynn Roberts, and Wendell Roberts.
Survivors include her son, Kingston Hilliard of Van; parents, Linda & Gary Roberts of Van; brother and sister-in-law, Steven & Nikki Roberts of Bullard; nephews, Tanner & Caden Roberts of Bullard; uncles and aunts, Walt & Brenda Davis of Terrell, Chris & Rene Davis of Colorado, and Charlotte & Mike Boles of New Braunfels; numerous cousins; and many close friends who were like family, including April Wade, Tonya Williams, and Brooke Randolph.
