Abel Siron Obituary
Abel Seabrook Siron, 90, of McDowell, died Saturday evening, November 24, 1990 at his residence.
He was born April 5, 1990 in McDowell, a son of William Lyman and Sarah Margaret (McCoy) Siron.
On December 24, 1929 he married Cliffie Bell Anthony, who survives.
He was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters, Gladys Beverage and Anna Lee Samples, both of Monterey, Connie Kolpack of Highland, Md. and Nellie Goebell of Barboursville; three sons, William of Brookeville, Md., Rudolph of Monterey and Toby Siron of Churchville; sister, Leda Siron of Doe Hill; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Steve McMillion and Harold Wade.
Burial will be in McKendree Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Armstrong, L.Z. Nichols, Harry and James Sponaugle, Ronald Malcolm, Roscoe Simmons, Ervin Zimmerman and Gilmer Ervine.
Memorial contributions may be made to to the Highland Rescue Squad, Monterey or to the McDowell Fire Department, Doe Hill, Va. 24433.
