Abidin Mulla
"Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, & brother"
Abidin Mulla, 91, of Waterbury died Thursday October 24, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Pellumbesha (Rapo) Mulla.
He was born in Korca, Albania, March 30, 1933 son of the late Myrteza and Salke Mulla. While in Albania he worked as a truck driver and settled to Waterbury in 2011. He was a member of the Albanian – American Muslim Community Cultural Center in Waterbury.
Besides his wife Pellumbsha for 67 years, he leaves two daughters; Gjinovefa Barolli and her husband Perparim with whom he lived in Waterbury, and Diana Ylli of Korca, Albania; three grandchildren: Anisa Infante and her husband Vinny of Southington, Lytfi Barolli of Waterbury, and Edi Ylli of Korca, Albania, and two great grandchildren; Luciano and Leonardo Infante.
Arrangements: Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
