Vincent James Mulla
April 6, 1966 – February 9, 2025
Vincent James Mulla, Age 58 of Shelby Township, Michigan passed on to his reward on February 9th, 2025 of natural causes in his home.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Vincent L. and Mary M. Mulla. Vincent is survived by his sisters, Catherine Mulla and Roseanne Mulla.
Vincent was born at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday, April 6, 1966. He graduated with honors from Denby High School in Detroit and then went on to pursue courses in the heating, cooling and refrigeration trade at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, followed by working as an apprentice with his dad in the industry at various public schools.
He had a "mechanical mind." He knew how to fix most anything and sought answers from the pros when needed. He also was great in the kitchen. He knew every pasta cut and was known for his great "mile high" tort creations of various flavors loved by all who sampled them. He also had a great memory for "every detail" of things in the past and every conversation.
Anyone who knew Vincent knew they had met one of the kindest, most generous with his time, and thoughtful person who cared about others and often put them before himself. He not only had a kind heart, but was very humble. His marvelous sense of humor was infectious. He was also a devoted "dog dad" to Nina, Jax and Josie.
A loyal brother to his sisters, Catherine and Roseanne, Vincent cared deeply for them and concentrated on providing them with whatever help they needed all hours of the day or night. He was an excellent listener who extolled a lot of patience beyond measure. Having a sensitive nature, he often soothed their heartaches and weighed their circumstances, telling them "You have to look for the good and not the bad in things."
Vincent had a great love for God, and his church, The Church of Jesus Christ, was always at the forefront of his mind. He attended church faithfully and was disappointed whenever he missed. He often said his "best days" were when he attended church. He prayed continuously for everyone. He knew his scriptures and often sought out answers to things that challenged him. He was a deep thinker.
May he find the peace and rest he longed for and deserved in God's kingdom. He will forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation Saturday, February 22nd, from 2pm-5pm with his Funeral Service to follow at 5pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Twp., MI. 48316. Phone (586) 677-4000.
