Ada Belmonte, passed away on March 15, 2025, age 89.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ada Belmonte, who departed this life on March 15, 2025, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio, with whom she shared a beautiful love story that began in their childhood in Italy, growing up as neighbors before marrying in 1956.
Ada was the devoted mother of Carmela (Richard) Soulliere and Francesca (Marcel) Pigeon, and the cherished grandmother of Richard (Melissa) Soulliere, Michael (Emily) Soulliere, and Marcel Pigeon. She was blessed to be a great-grandmother to Anthony Soulliere.
Ada was a loving sister to the late Giovanni (Rafaelina) Ziccarelli, the late Antonio Ziccarelli, Francesco (Ada) Ziccarelli, Giuseppina (the late Genesio) Porco, and the late Angela (Franco) Politano. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A gifted and dedicated seamstress, Ada's skill and artistry were well known, and she took great pride in her work. Beyond her profession, she will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights, MI.
A Funeral Mass Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., with Instate at 9:00 a.m., at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover, Warren, MI.
Ada's love and generosity touched many lives, and her memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
