It is with great sadness that the family of Ada "Ma" Goodpaster, age 91, announce her passing. On this day, October 2, 2024, Ada gained her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior. Ada was a fiercely loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother. While it is difficult to sum up the woman she was, she was a pillar of love and light to all in her life. Ada was a faithful member of the Rolling Hills Church of Christ.

Great-Grandchildren: Colby (Emily) Hollon, Chase Hollon, Makaelyn McAlpin and Jaelyn McAlpin. Several nieces and nephews. 2 sisters: Zella Farris Turner of Richmond Indiana and Iona Pearl Jackson of North Middletown. Her special friends, Pamela Miller and Jean Hisel. And her special dog Lilly.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Iva Donithan, her faithful husband Mitchell Goodpaster and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ. Friends and family can visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Dan Murphy and Jerry Carmichael. 125 Rolling Hills Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353
Pallbearers will be Shannon Back, Tony Donithan, Larry Donithan, James Davis, Colby Hollon and Chase Hollon.
