Ada Mae (Miller) Stutzman, age 83, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, March 21st, 2025, following a heart procedure.
She was born on January 14th, 1942 to Alvin M. and Annie Miller in Topeka, Indiana.
Ada did voluntary service as an aide at Hillcrest Home in Harrison, AR and Mountain View, Aroda, VA. She continued to work as an aide in Indiana. On May 3rd, 2008, she married Henry Stutzman and moved to Plain City. They enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Henry passed away on January 2nd, 2015. Ada volunteered at the Country Closet Thrift Store until her death. She was a member of Canaan Fellowship and enjoyed her time in Plain City among the community and church friends.
She is survived by three brothers: John Henry (Irma), Mt. Eaton, Ohio; Omer, Ligonier, IN; Floyd, Morrison, CO; four sisters: Viola, LaGrange, IN; Nancy, Susan, Mary Ruth, Ligonier, IN; four nieces and two nephews; stepchildren: Barbara, Jonas (Renna), Noah, Reuben, stepdaughter-in-law: Edna Stutzman, step-grandchildren: David, Devon, Leanna and Abigail Stutzman; also survived by eleven step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister: Elsie Miller; three sisters-in-law: Viola Miller, Billie Miller, Priscilla Miller; two stepchildren: Andrew and Rachel Stutzman.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 from 6PM to 8 PM at Canaan Fellowship Church 9380 Amish Pike, Plain City OH, 43064. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 24th, 2025 at 10 AM, also at the church. Interment to follow at Canaan Fellowship Cemetery.
