Mark Stutzman Obituary

Mark S. Stutzman, 66, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 7, 2025 with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Erie on September 3, 1959, a son of Joan Mayer Stutzman and the late Derald E. Stutzman.
Mark graduated from Seneca High School and spent most of his career working at Uniflow Mfg. and H.A.N.D.S. He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship (formerly Beaverdam Mennonite Church). Mark was an avid golfer, participating in a league at Elk Valley Golf Course for a number of years and a long-time member at Fox Run Golf Course. Along with his brother, Doug, he was a captain in his father's annual memorial golf tournament at Peek'n Peak. Mark enjoyed playing softball back in the day, bowling, and playing cards. He was a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Mark was a history buff and trivia master. He also loved to cook and had a unique gift of making people laugh.
In addition to his father, he was recently preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Shirley Warren.
Survivors include his mother Joan; wife, Rose Warren Stutzman; his daughter, Stephanie "Peanut" Boyle (Tom); his grandson, Brooks Boyle; one brother, Doug Stutzman (Tammy); three sisters, Julie Christiansen (Chip), Michele O'Neill (Paul), and Tiffy Patton (George); four nieces and nephews, Sean Stutzman (Jess), Kyle Christiansen, Evan Stutzman (Bree), and Rachel Stutzman; and two great nieces, Lola and Molly Stutzman.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday September 10th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
