Thomas Ross Stutzman, 85, of Adrian, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Butler Center for Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Victory Assembly of God in Adrian, MO, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services at Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Thomas was born on October 23, 1939, to Melvin Stutzman and Laura Alton (Waggoner) Stutzman in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Center High School in 1957. After school, Thomas went into the U.S. Army, where he served as a Medical Specialist (E-4) at Fort Bliss, Texas. He married Eleanor Resch on September 7, 1962, in Kansas City and together had four sons: David, Patrick, Nathan, and Stephen. Thomas worked as a computer systems analyst at United Telephone Systems, which was later acquired by Sprint, until he retired in 1997. Upon retiring, he and Eleanor bought a farm in rural Adrian, where he lived until 2022. Thomas was very active in the Assembly of God churches, both in Adrian at Victory Assembly and at Grandview Assembly of God. He found a love of going to auctions and garage sales to find deals. He spent his summer months tending his gardens and loved to find time to read.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife in 2017; his parents; and son, David K. Stutzman. He is survived by his sons: Patrick (Michelle) Stutzman, Nathan Stutzman, and Stephen Stutzman; grandchildren: Alexandrya, David, and Rebecca; and numerous nephews and nieces.
