She leaves behind one son, John Whitaker & wife JoRetta of London, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Michelle Brown of Russell Springs Kentucky; plus, a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert Brown & Pearl Jones Brown.
Ada retired as a cook from the Charcoal House restaurant. In her spare time, she loved to read and was a member of the Macedonia Methodist church.
A Graveside Service honoring Ada M. Whitaker will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Old Salem Cemetery with Donald Tackett officiating. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
Location of Cemetery: Take Highway 472 to 586 and turn left. The cemetery will be on the left.
