Alvin Parker

Alvin Parker, age 64, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
He leaves behind five children, Orin Parker & wife Ashley, Michael Parker & wife April, Maggie Parker, Anita Parker & Andrea, Erica Parker, all of East Bernstadt, KY; eighteen grandchildren, Ashanti Parker & Brevin Lay, Jazmine Parker & Elbert Hoskins, Orin Parker, Braxton Parker, Argent Parker, Debbie Parker, Dakota Parker, Lindsey Parker, Makinsey Parker, Aubrey Parker, Jaddah Allen, Brayden Allen, Maggie Allen, Raegan Abner, Haley Abner, Rylan Abner, Kailynn Sizemore, Kyleigh Sizemore; two great grandchildren, Karter, Owyn; three siblings, Miranda Overbey Wilkerson of East Bernstadt, KY, Rose Creech of London, KY, Randal Hundley; special friends, Charley & Bonnie Allen; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Henson Parker; his parents, Albert Hundley Jr. & Maggie Hacker Parker; and by his brother, Maynard Frank Parker.
Alvin was a devoted family man and a skilled self-employed mechanic. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, Alvin spent his life turning wrenches and helping others get back on the road.
Alvin had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was riding his motorcycle down a winding country road or casting a line into his favorite fishing spot, he found peace and joy in nature. More than anything, Alvin treasured time spent with his family, who meant the world to him.
He will be remembered for his steady hands, kind heart, and the way he showed up for those he loved. His presence will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service honoring Alvin Parker will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Mark Bowling and Phillip Proffitt officiating. Interment will follow at Hacker Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
