Our family suffered a significant loss and it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Adam Stephen Bagley, 18, of Troy passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was born December 24, 2005, son of Stephen and Janeen (Goodnight) Bagley in Cooperstown, NY.
Adam was a senior at Monticello High School. Always athletic, he was a member of the Varsity Golf team for all four years, earning top seed his senior year and winning the sportsmanship award from his coaches. He worked at Farmington Country Club and loved games of pickup basketball with his friends and coworkers. He was a member of CrossFit SPRC, where he impressed coaches and members with his natural athleticism and grit. An avid animal lover, Adam couldn’t pass a dog by without petting it. His pets Charley, Addie, and Gunner knew him as an excellent ball and frisbee thrower. Adam and his dog Gunner were particularly inseparable and would pass the time snuggling every time the mood struck them.He was an amazing brother, son and friend. A lover of music, animals, good food, and a good time. We will remember him driving around with his sister with the windows down, music blasting and singing like no one was watching. We will remember him DJ’ing our road trip adventures, trips to the driving range and the movies, and big meals at IHOP. We’ll remember kitchen karaoke, singing and dancing, and creative cooking. We’ll remember special treatment at Billy Strings concerts, golf trips, fishing, late night horror movies, quiet chats and loud music. We are devastated by his loss. To his friends and family Adam was a bright, talented, and occasionally goofy light in their lives. The world and the lives of everyone who knew him were made a little better by his presence in it. He’ll be sorely missed, always loved, and never forgotten. What is written here is insufficient to pay him full respect or convey how profound his loss is to everyone.

Adam is survived by his loving family:
Mother- Janeen (Frank) Wisnieski
Father – Stephen (Deana) Bagley
Siblings – Alice, Logan, Drake (Blair)and Hallie
Maternal grandparents – Ann and David, Tim and Tena, Francis, Lois
Fraternal grandparents – Ken, Ron, and Shirley.
Many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Alice Bagley.
