Adam “Sean” Bechtol, 56 of Carmel, IN passed away Monday, August 25, 2025. Sean was born June 14, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH. Most recently, he was working for Amazon in Plainfield, IN loading trucks.

Sean is survived by his father, Larry O. Bechtol; siblings, Stephen “Bret” (wife, Gloria I.) Bechtol, Joan E. Bechtol and Tarla M. Serger; step-sisters, Julie L. (husband, Jackie) Schriver and Melissa D. Geiger; brother-in-law, Jerry Patton; nieces and nephews, Ricky R. (wife, Ashley) Aguilar, Javier E. (wife, Maggie) Aguilar, Joey S. Bechtol, Joshua J. Bechtol, Jayden G. Serger and Greta Bechtol; step nieces and nephews, Alisa, Emily and Matthew Riedy, Jared Johnson and Hannah Patton; great nieces and nephews, London, Luke and Logan Aguilar, Mya R. and Kemani Aguilar. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret L. Bechtol and step-sister, Lori Patton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, IN.
