Adam L. Ferguson, of Constantine passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 43. He was born on August 16, 1981, in Three Rivers, MI. He was the son of Shirley Johnson Davis and David Ferguson. He left a mark on the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy was defined by his kindness and generosity.
Adam was educated in the Marcellus school system and graduated from Volinia Outcome Schools in 2000. Described by his family as generous and kind, Adam had a profound ability to empathize with others. It is said that he would give the shirt off his back to those in need; in fact, he once selflessly did this for a homeless person, exemplifying his compassionate spirit.
An artist at heart, Adam found joy in drawing and expressed himself through his creativity. He enjoyed doing drawings of rustic log homes and cars. His artistic endeavors were a significant part of his life, allowing him to share his unique perspective with the world. He also had a great fondness for adventure, often spending time exploring garage sales and casinos, where he enjoyed discovering hidden treasures.
Adam leaves behind cherished memories that will be held dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His kindness and zest for life will continue to inspire many, reminding us of the importance of giving and sharing warmth with others. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at a later date.
He is preceded in death by his father: David Ferguson; grandparents: Calvin Johnson; Gerald and Tiny Johnson Warner; Lloyd and Opal Ferguson; Jody and Edith Davis; and Lynn Russell; and also, his uncles: Donnie Johnson; Dorsey Ferguson and Tom Ferguson.
Adam is survived by his mother: Shirley (Gary Russell) Davis, of Constantine; stepparents: Joe Davis, of Lawton and Pam Oberlander, of Three Rivers; one brother: Luke Ferguson, of Ypsilanti; three stepsisters: Janie Papke, of Constantine; Cindy Yoder, of FL; and Tammy Papke, of Sturgis and one stepbrother: Justin Boughton, of Poland. He is also survived by his grandma: Donna Russell, of Constantine; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
