Adam Halfacre Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rogers Family Mortuary - Alamosa on Nov. 19, 2025.
Adam William Halfacre, 34, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2025, in Alamosa, Colorado. Born on September 27, 1991, in Tampa, Florida, to David and Mauryan Halfacre, Adam's zest for life and his spirited personality were evident from a young age.

Adam was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and grandson. He is survived by his devoted mother, Mauryan Halfacre, and her partner, Bill Hooper, of Como, Colorado; his brother, Lieutenant Arren Halfacre and his wife, Jordan; his beloved niece, Davey Rose Halfacre; and his grandmother, Mary Louise Sellars. His memory will also be treasured by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by his father, David Halfacre, who instilled in him a strong work ethic and a passion for the construction trade.

Adam lived his life with an open heart and exceptional generosity and kindness. His life was deeply influenced by his late father, who nurtured and grew his love for the construction trade. He cherished memories of working together with his father and carried on his legacy with pride and dedication, contributing to the building and shaping of his community. His colleagues will remember him not only for his skillful work but also for his friendship, benevolence, and infectious laughter.

Together with his dad and brother, Adam spent a lifetime finding adventure and freedom in motocross and motorcycling on the open road. An avid snowboarder, he found solace and excitement carving through the fresh snow of the Colorado mountains. As a gamer, he connected with friends and fellow enthusiasts, sharing moments of triumph and camaraderie. Adam's journey also included personal triumphs, as he was proudly sober for almost three years, a testament to his strength and commitment to living life to the fullest.

As we bid farewell to Adam William Halfacre, we celebrate a life lived with passion, purpose, and pervasive kindness. His story is not one of sorrow but a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of joy, love, and adventure that he exuberantly shared with everyone he met. Rest in Peace, Adam; your spirit will forever soar in the hearts of those you've touched. You were a gift in this world.
