Adam Brian Kocsis, a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle, passed away on June 30,2024, in Beaufort. He was born on September 19, 1978, in Awendaw, SC. Adam lived a life full of joy, mischief, and a deep passion for his hobbies.
In his early years, Adam cherished the time spent working on the shrimp boat in McClellanville with his older brother Steven. This love for boats followed into his twenties when he found delight in playing with toy boats in the bath. summers were marked by these precious memories of hard work and playful moments.
Adam's love for family was evident in every aspect of his life. He adored spending time at the beach and swimming in the pool on the Isle of Palms with his "youngin" Bella during her childhood years. Known for his playful nature, he enjoyed playing pranks on his siblings and causing mischief as a child. Family cookouts brought him immense joy as long as he didn't have to be in charge of cooking.
His warm personality shone brightly through acts of kindness and humor. Always the first to lend a helping hand, Adam was skilled in fixing residential problems and could crack a joke to lighten any situation.
Apart from family, Adam found joy in various hobbies including carpentry, restoring car engines (especially older model trucks), spending time with dogs, exploring tools and machinery equipment, and indulging in remote control toys.
Adam leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his parents Pearl White Kocsis of Morehead City, NC; Steve (Tina) Kocsis of Homosassa, FL; his daughter Isabella (William) Luke of Charleston, SC; two brothers George Kocsis of LA; Steven Kocsis of McClellanville, SC; step-brother Todd (Marie Camilleri) Stroble of Spring Hill, FL; step-sister Christina (Nicole) Stroble of Huger, SC; aunt Pam Sellars of Newport, NC; and his ex-wife Heather Briggs of Mt.
