Adam Nease, 35, of Summerset, SD formerly of Princeton, IN passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 23, 2025.

He was born August 28, 1989 in Princeton, IN to Gary Nease and Stacy (Hyneman) Russell. Adam graduated from Princeton High School in 2008. He will be remembered as a clever person who had knowledge about so many things. Adam loved to be in the embrace of nature. He would spend time outdoors hiking, hunting, bird watching, and fishing. Adam adored his beloved coonhound, Kindall. He spent time to make sure she had wonderful manners and impressive skills. She would follow his commands where she could go anywhere off leash. Adam even taught her fun tricks and skills, like how to open doors and bring things to him. He would often take Kindall hunting as well. He worked as an apprentice carpenter in South Dakota. Adam is loved by so many and will deeply be missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Nease and Donald Hyneman; grandmother, Judith Tonning; and step-father, David Russell.

Adam is survived by his mother, Stacy Russell; father, Gary Nease; grandmother, Carrol (Dale) Ready; special friend, Alyce Morrison; siblings, Aaron (Oliva Hicks) Jacobs, Meghan (Dan) Sweatt, and Charla Kidd; nieces and nephews, Kyler Kidd, Keydren Jacobs, Parker Jacobs, Zola Jacobs, and Devyn Sweatt; special great-aunt, Sharon Davis.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Eagles in Princeton from 3 PM until 7 PM. Please come and join the family to honor Adam and celebrate his life.
